CONCEPT
Bravo Emmy-winning season of Top Chef, brother Bryan and Michael Voltaggio created a modern steakhouse at MGM National Harbor inspired by the nostalgia for their home state of Maryland. The restaurants food and interior design are centered around the warmth of the brothers' child hood home. I was tasked with the creative challenge to create a one of a kind menu, given to the top guests of the restaurant, to capture the elevated warmth of the space showcasing secret menu options.
I decided to capture the physical feeling of visiting the steakhouse by embossing the menu envelope with the same tufted fabric used in the dining space. Additionally, posing a question and adding space to custom address the menu to the customer, personalizes the experience. The menu doubles as a souvenir in our resort dining experience, with customers able to take their personal menu home with them.
